Fall 2011

Fall consisted of a lot of fishing, hunting, and transitioning into college.  I spent most of my days in the fall on the South Fork of the Snake River near Heise, Idaho.  Most days there were plenty of whitefish and plenty of browns.  I was lucky to catch a lot of nice SF rainbows this fall as well.  Henry’s lake had fish stacked on the shore and it seemed unfair how easy the fishing was.  As fall went on and hunting season came along, I transitioned into my search for deer.  I hunted the river bottoms almost every day of the season and on the last day was able to bag a doe.  College came around and my time was turned to school rather than fishing.  Fall ended with another trip out to the Star Valley Trout Ranch and I was rewarded with a great rainbow trout.
